LunarBatch

A Python-based recipe management application that allows home chefs to record, edit, save, delete, and scale their recipes.

Usage

1. To create a new recipe:

   - Click the "New Recipe" button

   - Enter the recipe name

   - Set the number of servings

   - Enter the ingredients (one per line)

   - Enter the cooking instructions

   - Click "Save Recipe"

2. To edit a recipe:

   - Click on the recipe name in the list on the left

   - Make your changes

   - Click "Save Recipe"

3. To delete a recipe:

   - Select the recipe from the list

   - Click "Delete Recipe"

   - Confirm the deletion

4. To scale a recipe:

   - Select the recipe from the list

   - Change the number of servings

   - Click "Scale Recipe"

   - The ingredient amounts will be automatically adjusted

Data Storage

Recipes are stored in a JSON file in the application data directory:

- Windows: `%APPDATA%\LunarBatch\recipes.json`

Updates

The application automatically checks for updates when launched. If a new version is available:

1. A notification dialog will appear

2. You can choose to download the update

3. Your recipes will be preserved during updates
